A pretty great note to end the week on. 🥁

SEP Junior High student Noah Donohue has been named the 2026 recipient of the Craig Cronbaugh Drum Studies Scholarship, recognizing an outstanding drum student.

The scholarship was presented by the Midwest All-Music Association and will help Noah continue pursuing his passion for music through band camp, private instruction, equipment, and other opportunities.

Congratulations, Noah. Keep playing.

Reece Whinery claimed the 4A state discus title this spring with a throw of 183 feet, 3 inches—the first state champion in the event in Southeast Polk history.
