My hot take on AI: the interesting part is not the technology, it is that the gap between having an idea and having a working thing just collapsed.
Ten years ago, if you wanted to build an app, you either learned to code or found someone to pay. Both were real barriers and both filtered out most people. That filter is mostly gone now. You still have to do the work, you still have to know what you are building and why, but the part that used to require a degree or a budget does not anymore.
I think the people who spend the next year actually using these tools will be in a very different position than the people who spend it having opinions about them. Not because AI makes you money, but because building things teaches you things, and most people never get to the building part.

The best decision I made this year was finally building the app that had been living in my notes for months. Not because it made me a genius developer overnight, but because I stopped researching and picked a starting point.
The part that tripped me up early was not the building. It was not knowing the order. What do you decide first, what can wait, when do you actually touch code, and what does App Store submission even involve. I ended up mapping all of it out for myself so I always knew the next step instead of opening my laptop and freezing.
