Specializing in a unique hybrid program that bridges the gap between homeschooling and state funded resources as a public charter school. Canyon Grove is an inspired community of learners, parents, and educators who find fulfillment and joy in pursuing excellence in learning, self-accountability, and in meeting unique individual needs in order to prepare students for the life-long pursuit of knowl
edge to attain their full potential. At Canyon Grove students learn in the way that works best for them. Classroom lessons are reinforced through hands-on activities like our Space Center, School Farm and Garden, and Smart Lab. Our popular hybrid program, "Adventures At Home", is provided at our Pleasant Grove, South Jordan, Salt Lake City, and Tooele locations. The 'Adventures At Home' program has students learning majority at home, and on campus 1.5 days a week. Students benefit from the collaborative projects done on campus in classroom of no more than 18 students. Adventures At Home is comprised of 3 components, Epic day, which is one full day each week on campus covering subjects like STEM and history. Two, a half day on campus called Discovery/Innovations, which is optional. Third, the time spent in your home using our curriculum or curriculum of your choosing the remainder of the week. Discovery/Innovations day will be one where students will utilize our unique Space Center, Smart lab, gardens/farming, and take field trips to experience fishing, snowshoeing, ninja gym, etc. Canyon Grove also provides an educational specialist that will be available to parents for curriculum help/questions, and our resource library is stocked with nearly endless teaching aids, games/puzzles and activities to dive deeper into subjects as students develop an appetite for different topics and subjects. We can also provide tech equipment such as a Chromebook for your student to complete their online learning if needs be. Essentially we are a state funded school that provides a solid foundation and an immense amount of resources to the Utah parents out there that want to take control of their children's education. We have built our programs around supporting the homeschooling model, and we continue to grow our vision.
