This collaboration between Plattsburgh Dance Project and the Flynn Center for the Arts makes it possible to cover tuition and travel expenses for Plattsburgh-area students with a single $35 payment. (Tuition alone is normally $30, and cost of riding the ferry to Burlington and back is another $30 plus gas).

Plattsburgh Dance Project is working with the Flynn Theater in Burlington to provide discount tuition for their Looking Deeper Series to dancers from Plattsburgh who sign up through Plattsburgh Dance Project! See poster for more details.

Big news....the Martha Graham Company is coming to the Flynn in Burlington, and will be offering a Master Class to the public for FREE!

They have not posted it yet, but will soon appear at the link posted below! I have been working with the Flynn Theater to develop group class and performance ticket rates for Plattsburgh area dancers, and they have told me that the class will be offered on November 20th (time tba). Their performance is schedule for November 21st. This particular workshop is free, but space is limited and it is on a first come first serve basis. I will notify everyone as soon as the workshop is listed, and hopefully at least some Plattsburgh dancers can get a spot!

I am DEFINITLY signing up to take this class as long as I can get a spot, so whoever else from here can get registered, please contact me, and I can provide transportation and split the cost of gas and ferry to get there!

I am also going to start trying to organize monthly trips over there with 10-15 people for the Looking Deeper modern workshop series. They are every Second Sunday of the month from 1pm-4pm, and feature a different instructor/choreographer each class. Normal class price is $30, but I am waiting to hear from them on discount rates for the group. Cost to get there would be around $25/per person (this includes gas, ferry ticket, and cost of rental for a 15-seat passenger van)

You can do it! Teen/adult Rebecca Kelly Master Class...thanks for the workout! Everyone did great. So refreshing to finally take class again :)
