I am interested in working together on our community to make positive change. My focus will to be serve as a positive, accessible leader.
Not with rose colored glasses but with the community orientated view and goals in mind created by real dialog. I am a young professional and homeowner in the city of Plattsburgh with a background in community organizing. I first fell in love with this wonderful community while pursuing my education at SUNY Plattsburgh ('08 and '17), and I understand how special it is to be able to return to make t
his community my home. Directly after completing my undergraduate degree I began working in community organizing, starting with AmeriCorps VISTA. Then I focused my work on nonprofit organization and within state/federal government. In 2014, I returned back to Plattsburgh to set roots in the community. Since moving back I have been active in my professional life at SUNY Plattsburgh and exploring our community (46r #11,125!!). Over the last few years I have become increasingly active in our community, attempting to help make a more positive Plattsburgh for all. Our community is in a phenomenal location, with our incredible environment, vibrant community, and strong leaders throughout. I am looking forward to meeting new folks on the campaign trail and listening to their concerns and thoughts - so we all can make Plattsburgh a stronger community.
