🎂✨ Leadership looks a lot like CAKE today! ✨🎂

Today’s Liberty Leadership Lab might have been one of our favorites yet! ❤️

The challenge was simple: I wasn’t helping. 😬😂 Our students were responsible for making their cakes from start to finish—reading directions, measuring ingredients, dividing responsibilities, solving problems, decorating, and preparing their final creations for a friendly competition.

And THIS is where the real learning happened. 🙌

Our older students stepped into leadership roles, our younger students jumped in and contributed, and everyone had to practice communication, patience, teamwork, responsibility, and problem-solving. When something didn’t go exactly as planned, they had to figure it out together instead of immediately asking a teacher to fix it.

But my favorite part? ❤️ They weren’t just competing. They were helping one another, encouraging each other, sharing ideas, and celebrating each other’s successes.

Sometimes the best thing we can do as educators is step out of the way and give students the opportunity to discover just how capable they really are.

Today we made cakes… but we were really building leaders. 🎂💪❤️

💙 Serving Together at Liberty Scholars! 💙

Today was another wonderful Food Bank Service Day, and our students showed up ready to serve! 🙌 It makes us so proud to watch them learn that education goes far beyond academics—it’s also about compassion, responsibility, leadership, and serving others.

And today was extra special because we had some of our Liberty Scholars parents jump in and serve alongside us! 🥰 Seeing our students, staff, and families working together to bless our community is exactly the kind of school family we want to build.

We are grateful for every set of helping hands and every opportunity God gives us to serve others. ❤️

🌟 Liberty Leadership Lab Friday! 🌟

Today at Liberty Scholars, we stepped away from the traditional classroom and focused on something just as important…… LEADERSHIP! 💪📚

Our students worked on teamwork, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and what it means to lead with character, confidence, and integrity. Through fun activities and real-life scenarios, students had the opportunity to think about the kind of leader they want to become.

At Liberty, we aren’t just preparing students for the next grade level, we’re helping prepare them for life, leadership, and service to others. ❤️🤍💙

🚤 STEM Day Fun! 🧪✨

Today our students put their engineering skills to the test by designing and building tin foil boats to see how many pennies they could hold before sinking! 🪙🌊

There was lots of predicting, testing, problem-solving, and redesigning happening—and a little friendly competition too! 💡💪

Hands-on learning is always a win at Liberty Scholars! ❤️📚

💙 Food Bank Service Day 💙

Today was one of those days that reminds me exactly why we do what we do at Liberty Scholars. Watching our students step outside the classroom and serve others with willing hearts was truly incredible.

Our students spent the day serving at the Food Bank, giving their time and energy to help meet needs right here in our community. But what made me most proud wasn’t simply the work they accomplished, it was seeing them serve the Lord through serving others. 🙏

We believe education is about so much more than academics. We are raising young people who understand compassion, responsibility, humility, and what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

So proud of our students today! 💙 Their hearts for service were a beautiful reminder that even young people can make a BIG difference in their community.

Day two is complete! Went off with a few hiccups, but that is to be expected! We had a blast with our STEM afternoon!!!
