’Twas the Night Before THEO
’Twas the night before THEO, and all through the house,
Lots of creatures were stirring—even Mom and Dad bounced about!
The backpacks were packed and set by the door,
With pencils and notebooks…and maybe some more.
The summer flew by in the blink of an eye,
Now THEO friends are texting, “I’ll see you nearby!”
The teachers are ready, their lessons prepared,
Excited to welcome the students they’ve prayed for and cared.
The parents check schedules—“What room? What time?”
While students are wondering, “Will lunchtime be prime?”
Old friends will reconnect, and new ones we’ll meet,
With laughter in hallways and familiar faces to greet.
There’ll be learning and growing, some challenges too,
And chances to practice what THEO students do—
Serve with humility, choose honesty each day,
Walk with integrity, and let kindness lead the way.
Because THEO is more than assignments and grades,
It’s the people, the friendships, the memories made.
It’s teachers and parents together in prayer,
Partnering with purpose and showing we care.
So get some good sleep and set that alarm—
Tomorrow THEO is back with its bustle and charm!
Here’s to a year full of love and good works,
Of friendships and learning—and all of THEO’s quirks!
The classrooms are ready. The teachers are too.
And THEO just isn’t THEO…
until we’re filled up with YOU! ❤️
Happy First Day, THEO! Let’s make it a great year!
