Kara LaMoure is a professional bassoonist and music professor. She learned bassoon as a student at Robinson Middle School and in the Plano East Senior High Band while participating in the International Baccalaureate program. She attended the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, where she co-founded The Breaking Winds Bassoon Quartet.
