Please congratulate the following athletes representing Plano Senior High School as Athletes of the Month for May!

GIRLS TRACK & FIELD, MORGAN OLSCHEWSKY, SOPHOMORE

Morgan exemplifies what it means to be a student-athlete, competitor, and teammate. This season, her teammates nominated her for the Wildcat Award, recognizing her leadership, dedication, and representation of the program on and off the track.

At the Region 1 meet, Morgan placed 3rd in high jump, tying her PR and school record of 5'6". She also won both the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles in thrilling races.

At the UIL State Track Meet in Austin, Morgan earned SILVER MEDALS in both hurdle events while breaking her own school records. In only her 11th 100m hurdle race ever, she ran a 13.36 to finish state runner-up. Less than two hours later, she placed second in the 300m hurdles with another PR and school record time of 41.18.

Coach Palesky’s honesty, work ethic, and commitment inspire her athletes to reach their full potential while giving everything she has to the Schim athletic program.
