Dr. Mehta is a leader who truly leads with his heart. He has a way of making those around him reflect and remember why we do this work in the first place—the kids and the staff. His care for people is genuine, and relationships truly matter to him in everything he does.

His commitment to excellence was especially evident in helping make the food truck lunch and student vs. staff basketball game a reality. Dr. Mehta coordinated countless logistical details behind the scenes and even showed up at 7:15 a.m. to make sure the parking lot was roped off and ready to go.

Dr. Mehta also demonstrates outstanding accountability and dedication. No matter the challenge, he consistently steps up to support the Vines family with positivity, care, and determination. It is easy to see why he was selected as the District AP Rookie of the year!

Thank you, Dr. Mehta, for all that you do for the Vines family. Your leadership, heart, and dedication make a difference every single day.

Congratulations to Coach Zhang for earning the Texas Instruments Foundation Innovations in STEAM Teaching Award—a prestigious honor recognizing educators who bring creativity, innovation, and real-world application to science, technology, engineering, arts, and math instruction.

This highly competitive award celebrates teachers who demonstrate exceptional student impact and forward-thinking instructional practices. Recipients are typically nominated and selected through a rigorous review process.

In addition to this well-deserved recognition, award winners receive $20,000, including funds for both personal use and classroom innovation to further enhance student learning.

Coach Zhang’s dedication to excellence and passion for STEAM education continue to make a lasting impact on students and our campus. We are proud to celebrate this outstanding achievement! 👏
