I understand that something’s need to be done in person as I am not an absolutist on this however,
as a remote worker myself, I have see nothing but benefits while working from home.

Meetings that don’t need to be taken in person are transitioned to online calls. Not comunting to work saves you time from the road and gas money especially is your job is greater than 40 minutes away.

With this increase in time and cost savings, this allow you to make quick pivots in your personal life in order to get things taken care of outside of work!

One the biggest switches I had to make personally was switching from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset.

I’m not saying that I have it all figured out because I don’t. There are parts of me that are still in a fixed mindset but as long I continue to challenge those beliefs, I feel that I will be pushing myself in a better direction of understanding and become more open minded to the possibilities that are out there.

- Planned a proposal
- Under went a FULL home renovation
- Vacationed to Las Vegas
- Threw an engagement party

All of these things MUST be planned for. Years of investing and saving have lead me to have the biggest year of my life.

If you want to achieve your goals with the least amount of risk, YOU MUST PLAN.

It’s doesn’t matter if you a rich or poor. We can see it through one of our most loved cultural icons, Shakira.

According to the article, She failed to pay 15 million in taxes from 2012 to 2014. If she is convicted of not paying taxes, then she will give an 8 year sentence!

What’s the lesson? If you are unaware of what is taxable or not, find a tax professional to help you out in order to avoid situations like this.

I am 100% in support of kids learning personal finance at a young age.

Personally, I feel like it needs to be a required class to take when you’re in high school.

If you’re old enough to get a job and make money, then you are old enough to learn about personal finance!

A great documentary put together by VICE on the Global Financial Crisis back in 2008. An insane amount of information that you will learn from this film. Honestly one of my favorite finance documentaries!

This documentary places us right in the drivers seat and shows us what is was like to lead the nation while this financial meltdown was occurring.

Scarcity is a corner stone problem of economics. Investopedia states that it is, “when the means to fulfill ends are limited and costly.”

Time is scarce.
Money is scarce.

In reference to money, that’s why Bitcoin is considered to be scarce.

Bitcoin is scarce because there is limited supply. Once they are “minded” digitally, that’s it. The circulating supply is finite and can’t be increased.

In reference to time, it’s easier to understand. You can NEVER get back time. Once it is gone, it’s gone! It’s limited and finite for everyone in the world.

I’ve heard and have been a part of to many incidents where you’ll be busting your butt day and night only to receive a pat on the back or a “Keep up the good work!” comment.

Be a part of a company that’s values you as an employee and sees great potential in you.

Six Flags is currently seeing a decrease in park attendance. A 22% decrease to be exact when comparing Q2 2022 to Q1 2021.

According to the CEO, he stated that "It was a cheap day care center for teenagers during breaks and the summers..”

So the plan is to now reposition themselves in the market and attract a broader audience.

If we take a strategic point of view and use Porters Four Generic strategies it appears that they have used a COST FOCUS strategy and want to transition the company using a COST LEADERSHIP strategy in order to maintain their competitive advantage and reposition themselves in our ever changing market.
