My love for science began early, sparked by a deep curiosity about God’s creation and how the world works. As a homeschool graduate and a proud member of THEO’s Class of 2014, I discovered my calling to nursing while studying Anatomy & Physiology at Collin College.
After more than six years as a nationally certified Neonatal ICU nurse, I’m excited to now step into the classroom at THEO. I’m passionate about hands-on learning and look forward to helping students explore the beauty, complexity, and intentional design of the human body—just as I first experienced myself.
I would love to meet you at Open House on March 28th from 9:00–11:00 AM.

Anatomy & Physiology is one of the most fascinating and practical sciences students can study in high school.
There is definitely a level of memorization involved, along with strong note-taking. But the goal isn’t just to learn terms — it’s to understand how everything connects.
As students move through the course, they begin to see how the body works as an integrated system — how the heart, lungs, brain, muscles, hormones and more all work together to maintain balance.
That combination of knowledge and understanding builds strong scientific thinking and prepares students well for college-level science, healthcare pathways, and other STEM fields.
Whether through my class at THEO or one-on-one tutoring, my goal is to help students feel confident in how it all fits together.
If your student could benefit from additional support in Anatomy & Physiology, I’d be glad to connect.

Need additional support in Anatomy & Physiology?
Whether you’re enrolled in my class at THEO or working through A&P independently at home, I offer structured online tutoring to help students gain clarity and confidence.
Anatomy & Physiology can feel overwhelming when systems begin building on one another. Tutoring sessions are designed to help students:
• Break down complex concepts
• Connect systems rather than memorize in isolation
• Prepare confidently for exams
• Strengthen long-term understanding
Sessions are conducted online for flexibility and convenience.
Limited in-person tutoring may also be available upon request.
If your student could benefit from additional support, feel free to message this page or email: [email protected]

Enrollment is now open at THEO Home Education Solutions in Plano, TX.
As families begin planning for the upcoming school year, I am looking forward to another year of teaching High School Anatomy & Physiology at THEO.
We use Apologia Advanced Biology: The Human Body (2nd Edition) as our core text, guiding students step by step through the structure and function of each body system. Throughout the year, we focus not only on mastering content, but on understanding how the systems of the body work together and respond to real-life situations.
My goal is for students to leave this course with both knowledge and confidence — whether they are preparing for healthcare or STEM pathways, or simply seeking a strong upper-level science credit for college preparation.
If Anatomy & Physiology is part of your student’s academic plan, I would be honored to have them in class this year.
For families studying independently at home, I also offer structured online tutoring for students working through Anatomy & Physiology.
