New Rock Alert 🪨‼️ Bituminous Coal◼️ from a mine⚒️ above the Arctic Circle❄️ in Norway! 🇳🇴

Coal is deposited as organic debris🍂 typically in warm swamp, bog or coastal🏝️ delta environments. Which means this coal traveled a long way to end up near the Arctic Circle! My boss picked this up for me on his travels! 🙌
