Wesley Family Services provides a diverse range of autism, behavioral health, education and family support services to individuals and families in western Pennsylvania and has done so for over 40 years. We create life-changing support by integrating our services to best meet the needs of those we serve. What we have learned over time is that the challenges facing those we serve are more complex than ever. There are no simple solutions, but Wesley Family Services knows that a better tomorrow is within everyone’s grasp. Our passion is to foster recovery by helping children, adolescents, individuals, and families build resiliency skills to successfully cope with life adversities and challenges. We put the people we serve first, and we acknowledge the value and strength of every person, creating individual plans to help each person reach his or her highest potential. We are also proud to be advocates for those we serve, helping the community understand that the needs of people with developmental, educational, and behavioral health challenges affect us all. Our Mission: To empower children, adults, and families by providing transformational care. Our Vision: To do more for children, families, and adults; be more effective, efficient, and sustainable; and continue to innovate in what we do and how we do it.

💜 Throwback Thursday 💜

Every collage tells a different part of the recital story.

This one is filled with performers completely in the moment—singing their hearts out, playing piano, guitar, keyboard, and drums, keeping the beat with egg shakers, striking the snare with mallets, and sharing music in ways that were uniquely their own. There are quiet moments of concentration, joyful smiles after a song, and plenty of excitement that could be felt throughout the recital hall.

One of our favorite things about Music of the Heart is that no two performances ever look the same. Every performer brings their own personality, interests, and style to the stage, making each recital one of a kind. A special shout-out and thank you to Charlene Jacka Photography for capturing these beautiful moments and helping us preserve the memories from the recital.

💜 Throwback Thursday 💜

Every performer has their own way of taking the stage, and these moments from the 16th Annual Music of the Heart Recital are a perfect reminder of that.

From piano solos and guitar performances to drumming, handbells, tambourines, vocals, and even a special trombone performance, each performer brought something uniquely their own. Some stepped up to the microphone with confidence. Others let their instruments tell the story. There were smiles, costumes, concentration, laughter, and plenty of moments that had the audience cheering.

Looking through these photos reminds us that the best part of recital day isn't just the music—it's watching each performer share a piece of themselves with everyone in the recital hall. A special shout-out and thank you to Charlene Jacka Photography for capturing these beautiful moments and helping us preserve the memories from the recital.

It's a beautiful day for the Summer Fade Away Festival! ☀️🎶

We're looking forward to seeing everyone tonight at Southpointe Town Center. Be sure to stop by the Wesley Family Services table and say hello.

Enjoy live music. Grab a bite from the food trucks. Visit the local vendors. Check out the kids activities. Most of all enjoy a fun evening while supporting the Autism Caring Center.

We hope to see you there! 💙

More favorite moments from the 16th Annual Music of the Heart Recital!

These photos capture so much of what made the day special—piano performances, drumming, guitar, singing, tambourines, movement with the parachute, fun costumes, big stage personalities, and therapists right there to encourage and celebrate every step of the way.

Whether it was a first time on stage or a returning performer sharing their music once again, every moment brought something different to the recital. We love looking back at the smiles, the confidence, and the joy. A special shout-out and thank you to Charlene Jacka Photography for capturing these beautiful moments and helping us preserve the memories from the recital.
