Minibeast is a three-piece band comprised of Peter Prescott (formerly of Mission of Burma, Volcano Suns, Kustomized) playing guitar, keys, noises (mouth & other) & the mind bending rhythm section of Keith Seidel on drums n’ percussion and Niels LaWhite on bass. It’s liquid music...always moving. They gratefully accept influences from Fela Kuti, Can, and the Stooges.

Derya Yildirim and Grup Simsek are internationally recognized for their unique and infectious sound that combines Anatolian folk with psychedelia, pop and soul influences. They have released two albums and one EP since their start in 2014 and have been touring extensively throughout Europe.

Tech25 brought together music, education, and live production for a full day of workshops and performances featuring DEBONAIR and Wave Motion Sound. From deep dives into custom sound systems and live audio to conversations about touring, DJ culture, and independent music careers, the event turned Tech25 into a hands-on learning experience for Pittsburgh’s creative community.

Big sound, real education, and a packed night of music.

It’s Syncin’ Weekend” at Tech25 with Gallo Locknez breaks down the world of sync licensing and how producers/artists can start creating music with placement opportunities in mind. From song structure to submission companies, this workshop is built for people serious about getting their music heard beyond streaming platforms.
