The Preceptor of the Year is nominated by our students to honor preceptors who demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence and make exceptional contributions to the educational growth of our student pharmacists.

First, we have Dr. Andy Buziak, a Pharmacy Manager at UPMC Community Pharmacies, right here in Pittsburgh, PA!

Next, we have Dr. Mareena Shuster, a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in the Medical ICU at Allegheny General Hospital, also right here in Pittsburgh, PA!

Last week, the Class of 2026 had their RxPrep week to prepare for the NAPLEX and MPJE exams. alumni Dr. Katelyn Owens, Dr. Hannah Banks, and Dr. Veronica Walker spoke to students on how they prepared for both exams and on the exam structure.

Before Commencement, our Class of 2026 celebrated together with a special Awards Banquet! They were treated to an excellent dinner and were presented awards by the faculty, staff, and their classmates.

Congratulations Class of 2026! The next generation of empowered pharmacists celebrated Commencement this past weekend. The day included the ceremony, keynote speaker Gordon Vanscoy, PharmD, MBA, CACP, GP'86, and a reception afterwards!
