USITT at University of Pittsburgh

Thanks to everyone who came to Drag Bingo on Friday!! And a huge thank you to Thiqqi Nikki for the fabulous performances and for being a wonderful host!!

Tomorrow Night!! Late Night Drag BINGO is happening in the Charity Randall Theatre following the opening of Head Over Heels the Musical. The drag performance will start at 10:45pm and the first round of Bingo will start at 11:00pm.

Please not that this is a cash only event and tipping the queens is not expected, but appreciated!

USITT has another exciting event planned!! Late Night Drag Queen Bingo on April 10th following the opening night of Head Over Heels in the Randall Theatre!! The first drag show will begin at approximately 10:45pm and the first round of bingo at 11:00pm. Bingo cards will be $1 with the option to purchase extra. There will also be concessions available for purchase.

USITT is having a sound operator workshop this Friday at 4:00pm in the Heymann Theatre. We hope to see there!

This Friday USITT will be hosting a resume and portfolio workshop!! Come get your resume and portfolio looked at by staff and faculty as you are applying for summer jobs. Don’t have a resume yet? That’s ok, this is a perfect time to learn how to start one. This is a great opportunity for not only those interested in tech but also performance!!

USITT has another fun and exciting workshop planed for this Friday!! Come learn how to tape out a ground plan in the rehearsal room. We will be taping out the ground plan for Pitt Stages upcoming musical Head Over Heels. Please note that this workshop will be from 5:00pm-6:00pm!!

USITT has some fun and exciting workshops planned for month of February!! Come out and learn some new tech theatre skills!!!

USITT will be holding an Intro to Vectorworks workshop this Friday, February 13th. If you are interested in scenic design and or construction, this is the perfect workshop for you. Come learn about the drafting process and how designs are used and created. Please download the FREE educational version of Vectorworks prior to the workshop, the link is in our bio!!

USITT will be hosting our first workshop of the semester this Friday, January 30th!! Junior board member Ceili Schiller will be talking about production photography as well as how to get the perfect headshot.

We will meeting in B20 from 5:00pm-6:00pm!!

This is a great opportunity for both actors and those interested in tech.

The 24-hour musical is quickly approaching and we are looking for designers and crew members! This is a very low commitment production and no experience is needed to fill any of the positions. If you are interested, more information can be found at the link in our bio!

USITT will be hosting our final workshop of the semester this THURSDAY December 4th from 4:00pm-5:00pm in the costume shop. Come learn the process of fabric draping for building costumes. This is also a great opportunity to destress before finals week. We hope to see you there!!
