On this Memorial Day, we hold up all of those brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect and preserve our nation’s freedom and the lives of others. We pray for their families and for the repose of their souls.

Today we celebrate Pentecost: the birthday of the Church.

Let us always turn to the guidance of the Holy Spirit when we might feel lost or afraid knowing that God is always here and always provides.

May we summon all of our strength to go out into the world and preach the Gospel through our acts of love, service, and charity.
