We are still in awe over conference! ESWcon26 was a huge success and we are so grateful to everyone who came.
Engineers for a Sustainable World is a nonprofit network made up of people passionate about technical sustainability from all across the world.
Our chapters, located throughout the US, work on projects that they select that range from campus to communities to international locations. We are always looking for new schools that are interested in getting involved - contact info @ eswusa.org for more information on becoming a chapter.

That’s a wrap on ESWcon26! Our final day was filled with our poster session, the design challenge presentation, a banquet and awards.

ESWcon26 has been a major hit so far! Yesterday on Day One students explored Austin with a tour and finished off the evening with a scavenger hunt!

ESW-HQ is excited to announce our final keynote speaker, Richard Amato!
Richard serves as Executive Director of the Austin Technology Incubator (ATI) at The University of Texas at Austin, where he leads its next stage of growth as part of the Discovery to Impact team. He first joined ATI in 2001 to found the Clean Energy Incubator, the first program of its kind dedicated to supporting sustainable ventures. Prior to returning to ATI, Richard led the Global Programs & Innovation team at Texas Global, working with governments, universities and industry partners worldwide to train emerging leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs. He also serves as faculty at the McCombs School of Business teaching courses on entrepreneurship and sustainability with a focus on real-world venture support.
We are grateful to have him join us as a keynote speaker next week. Make sure to check out the conference schedule to see his time slot!

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Walter Almon! He’ll be speaking on Saturday about the practical applications of sustainability in projects.
Walt has been an adjunct professor of the Project Management graduate degree program at University of Alaska Anchorage, and taught PMP Prep courses over the years. He is a member of Project Management Institute (PMI) and past President of two PMI chapters.
We are so excited to hear from him this weekend! See you in Austin!
