When life seems dull + hard, it’s easy to get sucked into the negative ideation of what we still have yet to accomplish. Intentionally combating this frustration looks like taking inventory of all the things that would make little-me jump for joy. One of those things is you, Kyra. Every time we kiss — it’s euphoric — I’m sent back to the first time a girl made my body tingle. And although it was confusing + clarifying at the same time, little-me can rest easy knowing those feelings + thoughts are safe with you now, when back then little-me was unsure.
