I am a parent myself of two beautiful humans! I am absolutely proud and excited for their growth! As parents, we knew that these little birdies will flock away one day! We did everything to teach them about life and how to live it...when no one taught us how to prepare ourselves for such a seperation and big transition in our lives.

Some say, you will get used to them not being around and finally live for what you always wanted to do. They love the extra time, independence and the house stays clean. But today, the Empty Nester Syndrome is REAL for sure! Atleast for me after dropping off my younger one to college yesterday....my eyes are welled up with tears💦..missing my babies, the chaos and their voices!

🌟Even though I have been photographing teens for about 7 years
🌟Even though my portrait work is nationally and internationally recognized and published
🌟I know deep in my heart... how it feels to silently struggle with body image.

When I was in my teen years, I was a chubby, petite girl🙋‍♀️, and I was picked on by my friends and peers.

I remember how it affected my relationship with my body and my self-worth!
I remember the day I laid in bed and I questioned myself ...
Why are some of my friends so mean(tease me)?

Now, I UNDERSTAND HOW I FELT THEN... that " I WAS NOT ENOUGH"!

🔥Today, I love my whole being to the core level.
🔥Today, I am a mom of 2 wonderful adults
🔥And, I have worked closely with high school youth in a school setting

That's when I realized💬:
"I can make a difference"🫶 Because now, I understand what GEN Z kids feel, especially with the added pressure put on them by the invention of the internet &🤳 social media.

I watched teens compare themselves and doubt their bodies, beauty, and worth! The internet can be a sneaky place that tricks us into believing that everyone and their lives are perfect when people only share their best parts.

That's when I knew 💬 I had to offer something that would create a space where they can feel valued for who they truly are and lift them up! I want to help them see their true worth as their parents see them.

💡That’s when the idea of curating personalized boutique sessions popped up with a goal that would not only create beautiful portraits but also help boost their confidence to the next level.
