Go Explore Create art studio, located on Broadway Avenue in Beechview, is looking for artists to rent studio spaces averaging at 120 square feet per studio with monthly rents between $200-$500. With renovations starting soon, leases are expected to begin in May 2026.

Hello Everyone! My name is Hannah Ditmire and I am the owner and operator of Go Explore Create art studio! I began my business in 2018 in Dormont and within the past year I purchased the property at the corner of Pauline and Broadway, the former Eckles Funeral Home! I have completely renovated portions of it to become living quarters and am currently getting started on renovations for the first floor. This will become a community art center with my personal studio, affordable studio space for local artists to rent, a full ceramic studio (also available to rent) along with event and retail space. In early December I am hoping to be re-zoned and make myself one step closer to opening for business. I am in need of your help submitting letters of support from the community for my business. Would you be willing to help with my dream by filling out this Google form?

I'M A HOMEOWNER!!!!

This has been one of the hardest times of my life putting everything together to purchase the former Eckles Funeral Home in Beechview. I didn't know how much of an emotional rollercoaster it is to buy property and this is the best part... it's going to be BOTH my home and my studio!

I'll post more tomorrow, but if you are looking to get some anger out of your system, I'm going to have a "COME DESTROY MY FIRST HOME" party on Sunday. Bring hammers, crowbars, and whatever else you think we need to rip our loads of carpet and gut a bathroom.
