We are so grateful for FNB’s sponsorship this season. Their support helped us fund our innovation project, the “Piezo Paw” which helped us win 2nd place globally at the Razorback Robotics invitational in Arkansas! 🙏🏽 🤖 🏆

Our award-winning season has come to an end and it would not have been possible without the support of our friends, family, and generous companies like Indovance that see the importance of girls pursuing STEM.

Getting ready for our robot runs out at Worchester Polytechnic Institute! The event is called “WAFFLE” - 75 teams from all over the world, The Yinz Girlz are having a blast!

On Sunday, May 21st 2023, the Yinz Girlz, an all-girls robotics team from Pittsburgh, competed at the FIRST LEGO League Razorback Open Invitational and won 2nd place Champions Award, among 80 global teams, for fully embracing FIRST Lego League’s core values, while achieving excellence and innovation in robot performance, robot design, and for their innovation project (The Piezo Paw). Huge thanks to the coaches at My STEM Academy and all the parents for keeping the Yinz Girlz all season long! You like our leggings?

Great news! Callbacks have been announced! Proud to share, Pittsburgh’s very own Yinz Girlz have advanced to the top 10% to compete for the overall Champions Award tomorrow!! 38 states and 6 countries represented here.
