We love seeing colleges like Grove City College continue to recognize and support the CLT (Classic Learning Test) as a meaningful standard for academic excellence!
At Arise Classical Academy, we’ve fully embraced the CLT exams as part of our classical education model — our students take both the CLT10 and the CLT, and last year our 9th graders scored above the national average!
The CLT beautifully aligns with our mission: it values virtue, reason, and the great ideas that have shaped Western civilization — not just test-taking strategies. It celebrates deep reading, clear thinking, and truth-seeking, which are at the very heart of classical education.
We’re grateful to institutions like Grove City College that continue to champion this test and uphold classical learning as the true measure of readiness for higher education.
