The Identity Question
Instead of asking: "What should I do today?"
Ask: "Who am I becoming?"

This is the life period where you get to rediscover yourself and start new.
For best results: Aim towards where and who you want to be!!

If you are unsure, I can help! Message me.

Imagine someone asked you, "What did you do this week?"

Now imagine they asked, "What mattered to you this week?"

Those are two completely different questions.

One measures activity.
The other measures significance.

I hope every retiree has plenty to do. But even more than that, I hope they have something that reminds them why they matter.

I know you love your partner. But are you beginning to feel like you're carrying the responsibility of making their retirement enjoyable?

It’s not fair to you or them, if they rely on you for their social, scheduling, and entertainment needs. I can help them build their own plan and find their own purpose.

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to look busy?

You can spend an entire day running errands, organizing the garage, checking email, and watching the news.

At the end of the day, you've done a lot -- but do you feel like you've moved your life forward?

That's the question.

Retirement isn't measured by how much you accomplish.
It's measured by how intentionally you live.

If that idea resonates with you, I'd love for you to subscribe to The 2nd Wind Playbook, where we explore practical ways to build a retirement that's meaningful—not just full.

The Sunday Night Test
Here's a simple test.
At the end of the week, ask yourself: "What am I looking forward to next week?"

If the answer is "Not much." It may not be because retirement is disappointing. It may be because you've confused staying busy with living purposefully.

The happiest retirees I know aren't the busiest.
They're the ones who have something meaningful pulling them into tomorrow.

If you're curious about where you are in your retirement journey, my free What Kind of Retiree Are You? quiz is a great place to start.

The Difference Between Busy and Meaningful
Golf keeps you busy.
Purpose keeps you alive.
Those are two very different things.

Busy may keep you happy for a short time but it will not satisfy you.

Stop Waiting for Retirement to Happen
Many retirees spend years waiting for something to "click."
The perfect hobby.
The perfect volunteer opportunity.
The perfect idea.
Instead, purpose is something you intentionally create.
I can help you create yours today! Message me to find out how I can help.

Do not ask: "What should I do today?"
You should be asking: "What kind of life do I want to be living five years from now?"

If that sounds very far away, reach out to me and I’ll help you plan what you need.
