Meet Lily Bistline: this week's 2nd Year Spotlight! Lily is currently completing her internship at Emerge Therapy. Emerge Therapy is a private practice located in Pittsburgh, offering individual, couples, and group therapy. Lily works with individuals and couples, conducting therapy both in-person and through telehealth.

Congratulations to our awardees of the Nancy L. Oyler Student Award in Counseling for 2025! Awardees were honored at the Oyler Luncheon hosted by John Oyler and his daughter Elizabeth Oyler.

Meet Charlie McClain: this week's 2nd Year Spotlight! Charlie is currently completing their internship at The A Team Follow Up Team with Resources for Human Development. The A-Team employs a range of crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to reduce hospitalizations and incarcerations related to mental health issues, promoting comprehensive support and promoting community well-being.

Congratulations to all the recently admitted new students! We're very excited to welcome you in the fall and begin your journey as the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Class of 2028!

Meet Asha Edson: this week's 2nd Year Spotlight! Asha is currently completing her internship at Upstreet. Upstreet is a subdivision of JFCS Youth Services which provides free therapy to teens and young adults aged 12-22. Asha works both with individual clients and teens that come into the center's drop-in space.

CSEP Student Employee Series: Highlighting Pitt's Counseling's collaboration with the Commonwealth Technical Institute at the Hiram G. Andrews Center! Counseling students work to empower individuals with cognitive disabilities through the Cognitive Skills Enhancement Program (CSEP).

This week we highlight one of our first year students, Morgan Chen.
