Attention students who are 17 1/2 years of age who have a junior license and desire to acquire a regular driver license (without restrictions) before the age of 18 must complete an approved 6 hour behind the wheel instruction and 30 hours of classroom theory instruction. You can now schedule your behind the wheel training with me and take my online theory course from my website!

If you have already taken the 6 hour BTW with me, you can just take the theory class and I will provide you with the proper documentation and sign the document to give to the state.

I extremely grateful to be on the cover of Pittsburgh Parent Magazine. I love sharing my knowledge and experience with local parents to help them navigate through their new and unfamiliar experiences with their first time drivers. My hope is this article will give the parent some insight on how to give their child the best start to becoming a safe and responsible driver. When the parent has given them the knowledge and skills they need to succeed they can feel more confident that their child will make good decisions while protecting their family and our community as a whole from dangerous road situations and possible harm.

2023 Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month
🖤Tips for Motorcyclists💛
🔸Avoid distractions that place motorcyclists and other road users at risk.
🔸Motorcycles are smaller than most vehicles and difficult to see. Their size can also cause other drivers to misjudge their speed and distance.
🔸Allow the motorcycle the full width of a lane at all times.
🔸Yield to motorcyclists, especially while turning at intersections.
🔸Use a turn signal when changing lanes or merging with traffic.
🔸Proceed with caution to allow the motorcyclist the opportunity to complete the maneuver.
🔸Check all mirrors and blind spots for motorcycles before changing lanes or merging with traffic.
🔸Allow more follow distance — beyond three to four seconds — when behind a motorcycle. This gives them more time to maneuver or stop in an emergency.
🔸Obey traffic laws.
🔸Drive defensively.
🔸Drive alcohol- and drug-free.
