This past Friday, the Elizabeth Forward Alumni & Friends Association had the privilege of returning to the halls of Elizabeth Forward High School with our 2026 Hall of Fame inductees!

Throughout the morning, our inductees visited classrooms and spoke with students about their careers and fields, sharing their experiences and advice with the next generation of warriors.

Our inductees also toured the high school and saw firsthand the exciting changes, improvements, and new opportunities happening throughout EF.

It was a special morning connecting the past, present, and future of Elizabeth Forward. We are incredibly proud of our 2026 inductees and grateful they came back to share their stories and inspire our students.

Thank you to Chad Licht for taking the photos.

We would like to recognize one of our EF Educator recipients, congratulations to educator, coach, and alumna, Larissa Leuenberger! Larissa has an incredible 23 years committed to teaching, building deep roots in the Elizabeth Forward community long before she ever stepped into the classroom. A 1995 EF graduate and standout championship diver, she spent years teaching at Elizabeth Elementary and third grade at Mount Vernon before returning to the high school to continue her passion for special education. Larissa has been instrumental in the success of the EF diving program alongside Tammy Blackwood, and she brings her love for the community full circle as a local realtor—even helping several of her former third graders buy their first homes. Larissa truly embodies the Warrior spirit and loves spending time with her husband, Jon, and their two adult sons. Congratulations! ❤️🎉

Tara adores the families and students she has met over the years and is enjoying retirement with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
