We love seeing our grants in action! Thank you to everyone in our community who has helped us make those grants possible through your support of our fundraising efforts.
On Thursday, March 27, more than 150 girls from Pleasant Hills Middle School along with Thomas Jefferson High School students and faculty and staff from throughout the district attended the annual GOLD Night. GOLD stands for Girls Only Leadership Development and seeks to empower girls in grades 3-12 to be strong, confident, and courageous leaders. The three-hour event featured dinner, a keynote speaker, and sessions that girls selected based on their interests.
The GOLD Committee received a grant from the West Jefferson Hills Foundation for Education that made the evening’s activities possible.
