I recently gave myself a 6-week “time out.” ✈️ I flew back to England to spend time with my mum.

I reconnected with simple joys—making from-scratch soups, crisp salads, gardening and walking alone every day.

I journaled my fears, my dreams, and everything in between. I made lists, questioned my thoughts, and allowed myself to be challenged in ways that stretched my beliefs.

I leaned into coaching, therapy, and even let a blind clairvoyant read my tarot cards.

It wasn’t always easy, but it was necessary.

In the end, what I found was gratitude—gratitude for my husband, for the life we’ve built in the USA, and for the freedom to do the work I love… giving women hope that no matter how heavy life feels, everything can be okay. 💛

Sometimes, what we really need is space—to step back, reflect, and untangle the threads of our own story.

That’s why I offer VIP one-on-one retreats, created for women who want to pause, breathe, and find clarity in the middle of their own life circumstances. Held at my cabin or a hotel of your choice.

The Healing Hive meetings will resume mid to late October for a social get together as I am looking to locate a space for us all to meet equal distance between Bellevue and the south hills… I will keep you all you posted.

I thought I’d moved on.
I left the toxic marriage.
I remarried a man who is kind, steady, and everything I prayed for.
But the truth?
I was still living like I hadn’t left.
Not because of him.
But because of me.
My trauma responses followed me into this new love—
the overthinking, the fear of being “too much,”
the walls I built without meaning to.
It wasn’t until I spent time alone—really alone—
that I saw it for what it was.
It wasn’t my new marriage that felt heavy.
It was the old wounds I never fully released.
That space gave me clarity.
And a choice.
To stop letting the past write my present.
To stop trying to “fix” myself.
And to start coming back home…
to me.

If you’re in a safe, loving relationship but still feel stuck in old patterns—
please know nothing’s “wrong” with you.

Sometimes healing isn’t about the other person at all.

It’s about giving yourself permission to finally return to who you are.

I want to remind you: it’s not about him—what he did, how he treated you, or what he’s still doing. The pain you’ve carried is real, and it deserves to be honored. 💔

But this healing journey is about YOU—your nervous system, your thoughts, your choices, your future. When we begin to gently shift our focus from the abuse we endured to the healing we deserve, that’s when transformation can begin. That’s when the magic happens. ✨

And if you’re struggling to find your way back to the person you were—or to discover who you are now—you don’t have to do it alone.

If this is the American Dream, someone please wake me up
because it’s starting to feel more like a scam than a promise.

We were told if we worked hard, stayed in school, went to college, and followed the rules, we’d have it all.
A house. A steady job. A family. A future.
Freedom. Stability. Security.

Instead?

We’re drowning in student loan debt for degrees that didn’t come with careers.
Paying rent that’s higher than a mortgage, if we could ever get approved for one.
Working 40+ hours a week just to afford groceries and utilities, forget savings.
And we’re doing it all while being told,
"Just stop buying lattes."

Cool. I’ll skip the coffee.
That should knock my $2,550 rent down to a super-affordable $2,547

We’re raising families without support.
Paying more than ever for less than before.
Watching billionaires fly to space while we’re just trying to afford school supplies.

But sure, let’s call it “the dream.”

Let’s pretend burnout is normal.
Let’s glamorize the hustle while people are crying in their cars between shifts.
Let’s keep saying, “If you just worked harder…”
as if we’re not already working ourselves into the ground.

This isn’t the dream.
This is survival with a side of gaslighting.

So no, I don’t want to manifest yachts and mansions.
I just want a life where the basics aren’t luxuries.
Where mental health is prioritized.
Where no one has to choose between paying rent and taking their kid to the doctor.

If this is the dream?
Please.
Wake me up.
