Our employee holiday luncheon was the perfect way to kick off the season! Many thanks to the Piqua Show Choir for their outstanding performance, as well as to the Charger Music Society, Edison State Employee Choir, and Edison State Childcare Choir.
We also congratulated Betty Blue and Velina Bogart on their retirements. They'll certainly be missed on campus!

Christian Starrett's documentary premieres this Thursday, May 27th at 6pm as a part of our Home Grown Arts series! 🪕 It will air on our Facebook & Youtube page, as well as the Indian Nation Station Youtube page & Piqua Channel 5. 📺
Christian began his musical career right here in Piqua, Ohio. During high school, he was involved in Piqua Show Choir, mens chorus, and more. Christian graduated from Piqua High School in 2019. He then went on to study at Edison State Community College for an Associate of Arts Degree, and he now studies Commercial Guitar with an emphasis in Music Business at Belmont University, where he will graduate in 2023. He plays guitar for the band, Cole Ritter and The Night Owls, as well as playing guitar and saxophone for Cadillac Sam and The Syndicate. 🎸

We finished filming Piqua's Music Video late Tuesday evening of this week, and the whole process was a huge success! As you know, we had perfect weather over the 2 days we were filming! It could not have been better!
I want to thank you for your involvement in our video. We could not have done it without YOU! Please share with those in the Show Choir that came out a huge "thank you" for their time and talent! The production crew was blown away by the hospitality of our wonderful town. I was SO very proud of us!
There is a line in the song that Jared and Justin wrote for the video that goes like this: "warm hearted people, make up this town." How true that is!
The "Big Reveal" will be at the City of Piqua's "4th Fest" on July 4th, 2018. Jared and Justin (aka Reflektion) are the headliner act that evening. We will show the video that night for all to see and enjoy! I hope to see you there!

Hey all! On June 7th, The Workshop is coming to Loveland High School for a full day of dance. It's a hip hop workshop where you learn and will be taking a class with some AMAZING talent. You will taking classes and growing with some pretty awesome people, including professionals from LA and Las Vegas, an Immabeast company workstudy member, graduates from show choirs such as Burbank, Clinton Attaché, and Franklin Central, and dancers that come from all over the country.
This is for EVERYONE! You don't need to have any certain skills or be at any specific level to come! It can be middle school, high school, and alumni. Also, this is not just for show choir kids! If you have friends that are involved in the dance community this is an incredible opportunity for them as well! Hope to see some of you guys getting your groove on with me! Can't wait 🎉

How fun was tonight?! We were so happy to see all of you IN PERSON AGAIN! Congratulations to all our Auction Winners. There were so many of you! Thank you to Kathy Hess who continues to be our Quarter Auction Queen. Thank you you to all our sensational volunteers who spent so much time making this fundraiser the success that it was. And thanks to everyone in our amazing community for supporting these kids and the Show Choir program. We couldn’t do it without you. Hopefully we see you tomorrow night at Christmas on the Green in downtown Piqua!

Parents, remember those basket donations while you’re doing that Black Friday shopping this weekend! And remind your kids to take around the paddle order forms so they can let all your friends and family know about the quarter auction. They do not need to be present to win.
