We had a fantastic Summer Meeting with our friends at Old Cahawba and Alabama Historical Commission!
We want to thank Dr. William Daniel Henry, his staff and all of the hard-working students for all that they did to make it such a great experience for our organization and the many visitors who joined us.

We also want to thank our AAS officers Drs. LisaMarie Malischke, Lauren Downs, Ashley Dumas, Meghan Buchanan, Kim Pyszka, Shane Miller, as well as Ben Hoksbergen, Marsha Holley, Sarah Coffey, and Cheyenne Davis for taking their time as career-path panelists to help the CRM program students in navigating their futures in archaeology.

Finally, thank you to all who joined us to learn more about this important archaeological site and the work that is being done there. Make sure to join Old Cahawba on their next Public Archaeology Day on July 31st!
