Moving to the ‘Rez’ is my new life.
Remember back in Jan of 2022, I said that the city life wasn’t for me? I meant it. I manifested it. I’m finally free from the city’s chains.
Recently I have made some huge choices and sacrifices in my life:
I went from living in Phoenix, AZ working a 40-hour week as a chef, hiring 2 different personal trainers & training hardcore 5x a week, losing 25 lbs, finishing my culinary degree, training clients of my own with an online business I created, all while living in a toxic environment in a toxic relationship where there was constant alcohol & verbal abuse, to moving to a desolate, more peaceful area called the Hopi Reservation.

🏠 You’re lucky and fortunate enough to reside with electricity & running water.
⚕️& the health of the people isn’t so great, so finding healthier foods is a challenge.
My native friends, I know you are familiar with this lifestyle & how hard it can get. For those of you who don’t, it is complete isolation from all of a city’s conveniences.
Although I don’t particularly like the stressors of a city life, I find myself still struggling to transition from things like convenience, having a steady income that offers security & availablity of resources that is closer & at the tip of your fingertips, but I know I am adaptable & prefer this life instead.
Despite these new challenges, I choose to perceive it as the universe opening up SPACE for me to
