♥️♥️♥️PHS is officially a Saving Our Hearts-Heart Safe School with multiple AEDs and CPR certified staff members on our campus!!! Hopefully, we don’t have to use them; thankfully, we are prepared. ♥️♥️♥️

Look what finally arrived!!!! We are super excited about our new mobile AED. Our trainer, Ashley Bryant Holt, will keep it in her classroom during the school day and bring it with her to all extracurricular events. Our Pineville High School YVC took a quick trip to J.I. Barron Sr. Elementary School to help them celebrate Read Across America and Dr. Seuss’s birthday. We had a great time reading to their PreK-3rd grade classes.

CPR Certification Saturday was a success for these Pineville High School students!!! We are extremely thankful for them being willing to spend the day with us and learning how to save a life. They definitely got a workout!!! 🫀💪🏼♥️

We are also grateful for our instructors, Ashley Holt, Kori Sicuro, Tiana McDonald, and Arlene Clark!!! They are the BEST CPR certification instructors ever!!!

We have successfully raised 100% of the funds needs to add another AED to our Pineville High School campus!!!

We have started a GotAED campaign for Pineville High School, a Simon's Heart program. We hope to add a mobile AED device to protect our students because sudden cardiac arrest takes the lives of thousands of children every year. An AED device is the only tool that can save someone in cardiac arrest.

Rebels Got AED: Pineville High Youth Volunteer Corps The Youth Volunteer Corps at Pineville High School is a service learning organization that focuses on the needs of our campus and community. January 21-February 15, PHS Youth Volunteer Corp has partnered with the Foster Care Closet in Alexandria to host a coat drive for kids newborn to 18 years old. New and gently used coats can be dropped off to Mrs. Stevens at Pineville High School.
