Friday after Thanksgiving is typically the busiest day for Choose and Cut farms. So just a heads up if you are planning your trip tomorrow, the high temperature is 29 with a low of 16 🥶 Please bundle up and we look forward to seeing you!

We are looking forward to seeing a lot of you very soon and will officially be open this week! A few things to know before your visit:

🔹Tree prices for us are around $10-15 a foot depending on the size and quality of the tree

🔹Remember that cash or check are best but we can accept credit cards with a $3 service charge

🔹Weekend and Thanksgiving week hours are 9am-5pm. It can get dark very quickly close to 5pm which makes it hard to choose a tree so be sure to plan accordingly!

🔹Weekday hours Monday through Friday (except Thanksgiving week) will be 9am-3pm

🔹We will have wreaths, roping/garland, and tree stands to purchase as available

🔹Tree prices for us are around $10-15 a foot depending on the size and quality of the tree

🔹We have a very limited supply of trees 10 foot and up! The sooner the visit, the better the chances are of finding one but no guarantees!

🔹Remember that cash or check is best but we can accept credit cards with a $3 service charge

🔹We are open from 9am-5pm. It can get dark very quickly close to 5pm which makes it hard to choose a tree so be sure to plan accordingly!

🔹We will have wreaths, roping/garland, and tree stands to purchase as available

🔹Check the weather before you visit! Due to hurricane damage, road conditions are still not great and any winter weather will make it more tricky this year.

We have weathered the storm and are getting ready for another wonderful tree season!

Stay tuned for updates on pricing and hours for the season (shouldn’t be much different than years past).

Everyone at Twin Pines is safe. Other than tree damage on one house (everyone safe) and other fallen trees elsewhere, the farm is ok. Just very wet. We can’t really say what is needed right now until we can communicate with others in our county and assess. For now, pray!

Specific things to pray for:

-Pray that it does not rain today like the forecast says. We cannot handle it. Period.

-Pray for people to be found that are still missing. Lower Avery County is devastating and lots are still not accounted for.

-Pray that trees don’t continue to fall on houses, cars, etc. It’s still very likely and we know of one that has fallen (no damage) within the last hour.

-Pray that what little bit of roadways that are still in tact stay that way. Lots of concerns that they could continue to wash out. Things are changing by the moment.

-Pray for emergency personnel, lineman and local government officials. Their safety and stamina to continue. Pray for their families too

We question why things like this happen but I believe God is using this to have us ALL come together and love our neighbors in ways we never have. The outpouring of messages from people all over checking on us has been overwhelming. We are truly blessed.
