Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year!

Dear Pickerington Elementary Families,

Welcome Back! We hope your family had a wonderful summer and is ready for an exciting school year. The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is looking forward to bringing families, teachers, and staff together to support our students and strengthening our school community.

Every parent and caregiver is part of the PTO. Whether you volunteer at an event, attend a meeting, share an idea, or support a fundraiser, your involvement makes a difference.

⭐️Join Our First PTO Meeting ⭐️

Our first meeting will be held 📆 Monday, August 24th at 7:00 pm in the Pickerington Elementary School Cafeteria. We will introduce the year's PTO board, review upcoming events, discuss our goals, and hear ideas from families. Attending does not commit you to volunteering! We hope to see both new and returning families.

We are excited to work alongside our families, teachers, staff, and school leadership this year. Thank you for sharing your time, ideas, talents, and enthusiasm. Together, we can create a welcoming and memorable school year for every student

Hello PLSD Families,

We’re following up with a few important updates regarding today’s school closure and tomorrow’s schedule.

We know many families received today’s school closure notification later than expected, and we apologize for the delay.
Our team worked to get the information out as quickly as possible through our communication channels. As a reminder, keeping your contact information current in Infinite Campus helps ensure you receive important District notifications.

Here are the important updates for tonight and tomorrow:
TONIGHT: AUGUST 20, 2026
Tonight’s Open House for the Pickerington Early Learning Center will take place as scheduled from 4:00–6:00 p.m.

TOMORROW: AUGUST 21, 2026
At this time, we anticipate a return to the regular school schedule tomorrow. We will communicate with families later this afternoon if anything changes.

PKC Kindergarteners will have their third and final day of staggered starts tomorrow, August 21. All kindergartners’ first full day of school will now be moved to Monday, August 24, 2026.

As of now, athletics and extracurriculars are on. Please contact your child's athletic office to confirm.
