I have been making pottery since 1995 when I walked into a ceramics 1 class for an elective at Virginia Tech. I was an environmental science major with a minor in art and by chance, and the encouraging of a friend, I found an art that was functional!! What an amazing media clay is. I think i finally found a place to work. I have been gifted a space to work! I gave it a try today. It needs some organizing but is very peaceful up by Gojohn Canyon in Cave Creek.

Getting ready to deliver some Mugs for Local Jonny's. It's taken awhile to get these finished but when there is a will there is a way. Lots of great new colors from the glaze palate at the Mesa Art Center too!

The past few weeks have been really hard. I miss my studio mate terribly. Wednesday I fired Katheryn Sins kiln for the last time. I made to the Tempe Art Festival, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to pull off the last firing and have enough work for this show. I made it.
