🌟 Big News at MCA Senior Adult Day Center

We are thrilled to announce that beginning December 1st, MCA Senior Adult Day Center will officially accept Illinois Medicaid! 💚

This milestone has been a long and challenging journey — meeting all the eligibility requirements took dedication, faith, and teamwork. But thanks to the incredible support from the City of Kankakee, Illinois, our community leaders, supporters, and our devoted Board of Directors, this goal is now a reality.

We want to share that this is still a process — our team is actively training on processes so we ask for your patience during the development. We encourage you to reach out today to get your loved ones signed up and ready for enrollment!

This achievement means that more families and caregivers in our community will now have greater access to affordable, quality daytime care for their loved ones.

✨ This is only the beginning of the great impact MCA is determined to make in Kankakee County and beyond.

🌿 November is National Family Caregivers Month! 🌿

Each November, we pause to recognize and honor the millions of family caregivers across the country who give so much of themselves to care for loved ones. 💜

This year’s theme, chosen by the Caregiver Action Network (CAN), is — a reminder that caregiving often begins unexpectedly. It happens when you least expect it… when you’re running late to work, traveling out of town, or simply trying to make dinner. It can change plans, challenge patience, and yet bring out incredible strength and love.

At MCA Senior Adult Day Center, we see the heart of caregiving every single day. Our respite services give caregivers a much-needed break while their loved ones spend the day in a safe, engaging, and compassionate environment. From meaningful activities and exercise to social connections and care, we’re here to support both seniors and those who care for them.
