Yoga doesn't ask you to force yourself, but to face yourself.
One of the things I love most about yoga is that, although it's mainly known in the West for its physical asana practice, yoga is much more than just moving your body and becoming flexible. The movement is a tool to go deeper into yourself and uncover hidden emotions, thought patterns, limiting beliefs, and more.
Yoga doesn't ask you to force yourself to complete a pose or stretch further, but to face yourself - who you truly are - in moments of challenge, joy, change, discomfort, peace, and pain.
