The information rolling in for 2025 is concerning. This is our plea with everyone, everywhere.

Please ...PLEASE get GoPros on your e bikes, e scooters, motorcycles, bicycles and yourself as a pedestrian. It's an insurance policy for yourself or your child or teen.

For some of us, it's a priority that we have to save for. Please start saving now so that by the time school starts again you can send your teen or child off with a device that records what is happening when the bike or walk to and from school.

Dashcams are equally vital. Stay tuned for a valuable virtual event that we did last week on dashcams.

We don't partner with people, companies or anything/one else unless we trust them and would use them ourselves.

We strongly recommend that you reach out to The Dashcam Guru or Maricopa Dashcam

This is amazing!
Thank you to the Maricopa Police department for your efforts and kind reminders to the kids and teens out without protection.

In the city of Maricopa, wearing a helmet when biking. Or using a scooter (E -items included!) is the law, for ages 18 and under.

We encourage all parents to take this as a serious warning to protect your children and teens, not only with proper safety gear but with knowing city codes and street laws.

This was an amazing event put together by Officer Horst and hosted by Maricopa Police Department.

It was amazing to see Parents come out with their children of all ages. Our table alone, we spoke with many children and a lot of adults about Addi's story and the reality of pedestrian awareness and pedestrian safety.

It also gave us some great ideas for feature events!

Thank you Officer Horst and MPD for inviting us out to raise awareness. 💚

Pedaling safety MPD’s first bike rodeo taught children bicycle safety after several 2026 crashes involving young pedestrians and cyclists.

June is APHASIA awareness month.
Our family began following Geoff's journey a couple of years before Addi was struck by a car.

Not all brain injuries are traumatic. Some are severe due to blunt force, like Addi's and some are caused by health issues.

For Geoff, his brain injury was caused by a stroke. His beautiful wife Jo is his caregiver and she has recorded their journey and shares it with the world to raise awareness.

I agree with her fully. It is really sad when certain videos aren't pushed out or simply do not get enough attention because it's not a funny video or maybe what people typically would want to see.

What the honest truth is, is that these survivors .. what they deal with in public is unfair. The public is genuinely uneducated about the cognitive disabilities that come with surviving something that people like Geoff and Addi have survived.

For someone like Geoff, he shows some signs physically that something has happened to him. Without awareness one might not understand that his cognitive or emotional output is part of something he survived.

For Addi, it's all cognitive. Her disabilities for the most part is a small limp sometimes - otherwise it's all cognitive. What she goes through in the public eye in the feature might be very confusing. Her emotional output might come across as though she is tired and acting out or seeking attention hyper.

Awareness is everything.
I say all the time that the life term symptoms of a brain injury need to be discussed just as much as autism.

We send all of our love and support over seas to Geoff, Jo & their family.

4 June 2026. If I put a photo on of Geoff in his pink bikini, there would be awareness raised that there was this funny man on social media that dresses in women's clothes! So I need a 🙌 or a comment to say you've seen this!

Why are we not afforded the same exposure, when we are raising awareness? Did you know that we've fought tooth and nail to raise awareness of the difficulties someone can experience after stroke?

Awareness is so hard on social media, because most aren't interested in reading an article. They want to see real life, something they can relate to and I do totally get it, but it doesn't help us in our mission sadly! We have to do it all through reality videos, which doesn't have the same impact.

As June is Aphasia awareness month and one of Geoff's biggest deficits, the basics you need to know are that Aphasia is a language and communication difficulty, typically following a stroke.

It can affect speaking, understanding, reading, writing and numbers. In Geoffs case, it affected every area sadly.

You know what you need to do to help us if you can. Helping us, helps others.

Give us a 🙌

I think what we think and feel in regards to E Bikes, E Scooters ... It's all obvious. Not knowing the laws, city codes, having proper safety gear and setting expectations for your children and teens will always lead to issues eventually and possibly even minor to severe injuries.

We back every police department taking this as a serious matter.

Summer is HERE. Please make sure your children know their street safety rules. Make sure that they are properly geared up! If you need assistance with reflective items, please visit our website for further information on reflective items assistance. No questions asked.

We would rather help a little than continue to see fatalities rise.

May is Stroke awareness month.
While Addi's injuries were not caused by a stroke, we are here to advocate and offer support care to families on their brain injury journey, no matter what the cause is .. so, it's important to talk about!

More than 795,000 Americans experience a new or reoccurring stroke yearly.

It's important to know the BE FAST acronym for stroke victims. Balance - eyes-face-arms-speech & time. Time is vital when you or your loved one is possibly having a stroke. Stroke victims can lose up to 2 million brain cells per minute during their stroke.

Damage from a stroke is not considered a traumatic brain injury, but rather an acquired brain injury. Both are similar with overlapping symptoms.

If you even think you or your loved one is having a stroke it's important to call 911 and seek medical treatment. It's better to safe than sorry!
