Two of our middle school teams are heading into playoff games tomorrow—come out and show your support if you can!

What started as a small press conference supporting a bill to promote physical fitness in schools quickly turned into a dynamic and memorable media event. In less than a week, the gathering grew to include political leaders, rival university mascots, a professional boxer, comedian and actor Rob Schneider, and community organizers, all coming together for a lively fitness challenge in the school gym.

Second graders and high school athletes participated side by side, creating an atmosphere full of energy, encouragement, and school pride. Guests shared how impressed they were with the students, the school, and the strong sense of community on display.

This past weekend, Coach Chris had the opportunity and privilege of taking a group of junior high boys to the 2026 Young Life & MVP Leadership Camp for Young Men—and once again, it became an unforgettable experience.

Last year, Coach Chris brought 13 kids. This year, that number grew to 22, along with 4 high school leaders stepping up to guide the group. From the moment they arrived, it was clear this was more than just a trip—it was the start of a brotherhood.

Throughout the three days, they stayed in cabins together, developed leadership skills, and consistently pushed one another to improve. Whether working as a team, listening to impactful speakers, or simply spending time together, every moment centered around growth, discipline, and respect.

One of the most powerful parts of the experience was the bond that formed. Coming from different backgrounds, they left as a family. The huddles, late-night conversations, laughter, and even the challenges brought everyone closer together.

Through this camp, Coach Chris continues to teach and demonstrate what true leadership looks like—not just in sports, but in life. It’s about setting the example, staying positive, and lifting others up. All for one, and one for all.

Coach Chris is deeply grateful for the experience and for everyone who played a part in it. The 2026 Young Life & MVP Leadership Camp made a lasting impact—and changed him for the better. 💯

Our incredible 12th graders took inspiration from *Beowulf* and turned it into something truly special, writing their own children’s books designed to inspire the next generation ✨📚

With creativity and heart, they crafted stories that teach meaningful life lessons for today’s world, like unplugging from technology, cherishing family, and growing into kind, resilient individuals.

From epic inspiration to powerful messages for little readers, these students proved that storytelling can shape the future 💡❤️
