Calli shared with us: "I got into flying because I've always loved traveling and wanted a career that challenged me while letting me see new places. Once I started flight training, I fell in love with how rewarding and exciting it is to constantly learn and improve. I'm currently working toward becoming a flight instructor and eventually hope to fly professionally for an airline. Flying has taught me so much about confidence, discipline, and staying calm under pressure, and it's something I truly enjoy every day."

We love seeing students pursue their dreams, and watching them become a reality! Way to go, Calli!

Following Memorial Day, AeroGuard is proud to share that our Austin, Texas campus has been approved to offer VA Benefits to qualified students for eligible flight training courses.

Already having approval at our Phoenix and Chandler, Arizona campuses, AeroGuard can now offer these benefits at all training locations. This creates another pathway to turn military experience, discipline, and leadership into a professional pilot career.

Making dreams a reality - Congratulations to AeroGuard student Connor D. on graduating from Arizona State University this Spring!🔱✈️ He shared with us:

"Ever since I was really young, I've loved flying. Anytime my family went on vacation, my favorite part was always being on the plane. I was fascinated by everything about it and always felt connected to aviation from such an early age. As I got older, I realized it was more than just an interest. Flying was where I felt the happiest and where I truly belonged. No matter what, I never wanted to give that dream up. Graduating from Arizona State University feels really special because it represents something I've wanted for almost all of my life."

We're so glad you pursued this dream and continue to work hard towards your goals! Way to go, Connor!

Alex A. recently passed his CFI Checkride and is working towards his CFII now! We got to hear from Alex on how becoming a pilot has impacted him:

"When I graduated high school, I thought flying might be something I had some interest in. Little did I know that when I took that discovery flight for my 18th birthday over three years ago that it would shape my future in the way that it did. Learning to fly has shaped me tremendously. I've learned a certain mentality, and discipline that I wouldn't have learned elsewhere." - Alex

Another day, another Arizona State University graduate! Max M. recently passed his CPLME Checkride, graduated from ASU's Professional Flight Program, and is continuing toward his CFI with AeroGuard! He shared with us:

"Carrying out my flight training alongside my college education has been one of the most rewarding experiences thus far. It was definitely a lot of hard work. I've faced a lot of failures and setbacks along the way, but I learned from them and came back stronger. I wouldn't do it any other way. I'd like to thank my family for allowing me to be in this position that I am today. Go Sun Devils!"
