These PVEA leaders are just finishing up at the 2025 NEA Representative Assembly in Portland, Oregon. We've had a great week forging new relationships and connections from across the country. We're ready to get to work! 💪 💙

Your PVEA Executive Board met all day today to plan ahead for 25-26! While we were missing 3 amazing leaders today, this group had some great conversations around communication changes, member education, and organizing for power. We've got plans to do even more work together over the coming weeks - the work never stops, and this group will be prepared for whatever comes our way!

Summer has already started, but your officer team is still hard at work! We met today to plan for our 2025-2026 Executive Board Planning Day this Saturday, and we can't wait to dig into the work our union needs to do this weekend with our new team! 💙

It's PVEA Love Our Schools Day!!! Let's see those pics of you celebrating our amazing public schools this morning - drop them below!!

PVEA is so excited to be partnering with UPC PVUSD to show some love to our schools! If you are a community member that wants to join in the fun reach out to us and we will connect you with a school where you can spread some joy!

We've had our first 3 Prom Boutiques already, and we've helped over 100 students so far!

✨Prom Boutique Countdown! We're down to the final 2 days, and our raffle is looking thin—just a few dinner gift cards and two photo session remain.

✨We're seeking donations to make this special for our PVUSD students. Specifically, we need: day of makeup, hair, barber, and mani/pedi services. Food gift cards are also greatly appreciated.

✨A critical need: our suit inventory is significantly depleted below size 42, and we're out of men's size 8-10 shoes.
