We are stewards to this trade - it is up to us to offer help when we are able so that those after us may succeed. If that is beneath you, I pity you. Passing knowledge is, at the very least, a testament to those that gave us that knowledge in the first place; it is the best way to honor them.
Humility and vulnerability are not faults, they are admirable traits - it shows that you care enough to learn and are willing to ask. Lord knows, a lot of people go out of their way to s**t on the efforts and work of others without offering the help to make it right. It's easy to ridicule those in a lower spot than yours, it is just as easy to extend a hand, or an ear. A rising tide lifts all boats.
Shame on anyone that seeks to demean those that dare to ask. That is a pathetic way to go about life and an affront to those that extended a hand to you along the way.
