Third-party testing at SWTDT isn’t just for our students. We also partner with outside companies and organizations, including UPS contractors and city transit programs, to provide professional CDL testing services through our state-certified examiners.

CVTA thanks Chairman Graves, Ranking Member Larsen, and the T&I Committee for supporting high-quality truck driver training.

Today, the House T&I Committee released the 'BUILD America 250 Act' and CVTA was pleased to see provisions that will bolster the integrity of the Training Provider Registry through faster removal of noncompliant providers and fraudulent entities. This legislation also includes proposals to improve CDL testing flexibility and offer a five-year extension to the Safe Driver Apprenticeship Pilot Program.
