Still I Rise

Sometimes you just gotta take it one day at a time. Winter is difficult for me on a couple levels. I struggle more with depression and anxiety thru the winter. Even tho its 70 degrees here, the sun still goes down earlier and rises later. I also struggle with my health throughout the winter months with my respiratory problems. My mantra for the winter is "one damn day at a time"!

This is what it feels like to completely turn your life around. Shedding off the old and growing into the healthy, happy, joyous and free person we are meant to be. 💕

I woke up today to 5 years clean and sober! A whole hand! 🤣 These last 5 years have definitely not been easy but those are the times that test and challenge us showing me just how strong I am. I am grateful for my life today and don't ever wanna go back to drinking and using. I now know I am not alone and I have an amazing group of people who love and support me no matter what.

Thank you to everyone in my life for supporting me and showing me the blessings of sobriety.
