"SOMETIMES GRACE WORKS LIKE WATER WINGS WHEN YOU FEEL YOU ARE SINKING" Anne Lamott

GRACE for ourselves is what we are needing at this time of deep reflection and revelation. Our parts and patterns that no longer serve us are being exposed and asking for release to free us to become our true selves. We can not reach our truth with old patterns dominating our lives. The process of transforming these patterns is necessary to bring them to a higher place.

Purple violet is the color of release and letting go. In its integrated form it knows when to take action (red) and when to receive (blue). Purple has been chosen as the color of the year by Pantone and that resonates with me as well. GRACE is a key quality of purple. We have GRACE when we accept our process and ourselves.

Getting to a point of GRACE with ourselves as we are in this transformative process is key. As Anne Lamott says GRACE works like water wings when you feel you are sinking. Old parts of us are dying and losing control , those parts feel like they are sinking. When we surrender to this process of transformation we are lifted to the next level of light giving us wings to fly. A new sense of freedom of being is found.

Take a moment to reflect on the parts you are transforming. Consciously give yourself GRACE knowing that this is journey you have been on is part of the process of evolving and becoming more aware.

Our heart carries our truths and the wisdom of the soul. It has the answer to our questions and is our internal navigation system. Listening to our hearts requires practice and openness . Meditation, nature, speaking our truth, and allowing time to be with ourselves is key to this process.

When we disconnect from our hearts we often feel dissatisfied, frustrated, blaming and disappointed in life. We focus more on what is wrong rather than gratitude for what we have and the opportunities we are having.

Reflections of the heart is an integral part of participating in our soul journeys. As we sync with our heart we tap into the universal energy/flow and we open our selves to many possibilities before us.

Trust the wisdom of your heart and allow time for listening to its guidance. The allow yourself to live in its grace.

Creativity is how we share our soul with the world as Brene Brown says. The unique gifts of our souls are needed to create the new paradigm and assist with this major shift humanity is in. We often think that creativity is being an artist painting a canvas. We are each an artist painting our canvas of life. We are creative in so many ways--- how we cook, parent our children, solve a budget problem, communicate, work out, drive, work in our yards, serve our customers, solve problems at our jobs etc etc etc. All of our life is a process of creation.

Creativity is the energy that comes thru us and inspires us no matter who we are or what we are doing. It is our soul energy that shines within us. Creativity requires us to get out of our own way and let the inspiration shine thru. We often take our most creative moments for granted as it such a natural part of us.

Also we do not notice our creativity because it can be accompanied by anxiety. T.S. Eliot says"ANXIETY IS THE HANDMAIDEN OF CREATIVIY" Why is it the handmaiden of creativity?

Erich Fromm says it well"CREATIVITY REQUIRES THE COURAGE TO LET GO OF CERTAINTIES." This letting go of certainty is what we are all facing at this time as life is changing so quickly increasing our anxiety of the unknown. Anxiety is often a part of the creative process as we courageously surrender the known for the unknown.

We are all more courageous and creative than we give ourselves credit for.. this process of working with our souls is not glamourous. It is simple every day participation doing the best we can, facing each step with courage and openness, moment to moment. We often feel small and insignificant but we are all significant parts of this paradigm shift.

Stop today and reflect on what you have done, how you have been creative and let your soul shine thru.. You may have been anxious or fearful and courageously stepped forward doing just what was needed. Honor yourself and let yourself shine. CREATE CREATE CREATE
