Today’s Staff Spotlight is Hailey Hershkowitz, our Program Manager. She has been with Social Venture Partners Arizona for nearly two years. What she loves most about SVPAZ is being part of a collaborative community of dedicated nonprofit professionals and leaders across diverse fields. The range of expertise is inspiring, and she values how the work allows everyone to leverage their strengths to make a meaningful impact in the community.

📚 Happy World Book Day!

Today, we’re celebrating the power of storytelling and the incredible impact books can have on young minds. Our Program Manager, Hailey Hershkowitz, shares:

“As a former English teacher, I am really passionate about the impact a good book can make in young people's lives. I feel super fortunate to work with organizations that promote literacy and learning, like Loving Library, who just completed a Brain Trust with us. In addition to running many of the programs here at SVP, I’m also a young adult author with my third book for teens and tweens on the way. One of my favorite things about both of these fields is the opportunity to impact the lives of young people and continue learning more about my community.”

Last month, Partners had the chance to opt into this just-for-fun add-on experience, where those who wanted to join purchased tickets and enjoyed a night at the ballpark together.

Today is Arizona Gives Day, a statewide campaign connecting donors with nonprofits to help build a stronger community. ❤️
