School takeovers haven't seen much success across the US. Why is Arizona considering them? Under a bill being considered by the Arizona Legislature, D- and F-rated schools could face takeovers by out-of-state charter operators.

You have two people running a marathon, one person started training a year ago while the other woke up this morning and laced up their shoes with no training. However, we expect them both to get to the finish line at the same time without any additional training. This is what we expect from our in poverty who have little to no access to preschool and early learning resources.

Students in the District are doing amazing work! A Ronald Reagan Elementary School student became the Runner-Up to the Yuma County Spelling Bee, and several Crane district students placed at the Yuma County Science Fair!
