I used Calf Sleeves as a runner for a long time, but never really understood how they were helpful. If you are like me, then go checkout my blog post to find out more!
Pressing the Reset Button: The Power of Compression in Elevating Recovery

Walking is something that we have all done since we were little kids, and yet we know very little about how we actually walk or what goes on to propel ourselves. If you want to learn more and understand the basics go check out my newest blog post!

Initial Contact: This phase of gait is when the heel strikes the ground at the start of the stance phase of gait. This is when our body initiates weight-shifting from one side to the other. Proximal Stability Leads to Distal Mobility
Proximal stability leads to Distal mobility is probably the most talked about topic in physical therapy assistant school. I heard it more times than I can remember. But, what does it mean and why does it matter? Well, Proximal and Distal are relative to the center of the body, with proximal joints b...

Be the person that little you would want to be…
Can’t believe I have grown so much since this photo! The kid in this photo dreamed about being fast and wasting away to achieve that goal. Now I am eating right, working hard, and enjoying the process of training (especially since it involves my dog).
